F. Stephen Musselman
A Lancaster County native now living “just over the line” in Berks County, I have a special appreciation of and a passion for the area’s Classic Pennsylvania German architecture and also of Modern architecture’s openness and indoor outdoor connection so I have developed this website to highlight some of these special Classic and Modern Properties of Lancaster and Berks.
I am a Registered Architect, and LEED Accredited Professional. I'm also a former building contractor and carpenter. I’ve worked as a draftsman on nearly 100 public educational projects, as a residential designer/builder and as a renovator of many local homes. Please go to ClassicAndModernDesign.com to see some homes I have designed and built or renovated.
I strongly believe that well-designed healthy and attractive buildings that contribute to the owners’ well-being and also help to enrich the community are available to people of all means and just need to be searched out. As a long-time advocate of sustainable design and building techniques and as a Realtor, I may be able to help you find and recognize buildings that have potential that might otherwise be overlooked.
Having lived in New Mexico, Tucson, and Asheville, NC, I’ve enjoyed exposure to different cultures and have developed an ability to relate to and communicate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I immensely enjoyed the incredible hiking and outdoors opportunities of those wide-open places. I also enjoy chamber music, the Reading Phillies, Chinese poetry, jazz and symphonic music, woodworking, gardening, and travel.
I am a member of the National, State and local Boards of Realtors. I live with my wife and young daughter in a 1960 stone house that I completely renovated in the village of Gouglersville.
Let me know if you would like to have a property included on this site or if you are especially looking to buy or sell a classic, modern, or green home or property.
